I’ve been sitting on this news for a while, waiting for all the pieces to fall into place, and since that’s finally happened, I’m ready to tell you all…I’m moving to Oklahoma. Specifically, the OKC area.
Those who’ve followed me for a while probably know that I was born in Oklahoma, and I lived there for the first eleven years of my adult life, so this move is actually a move back to Oklahoma. Back to friends I haven’t seen in years, back to my critique partner, back to my best friend (whose children have practically grown up in my absence), and back to much of my extended family.
The move is still a couple of months away, but I expect those to be hectic months. I have to revise Oath Bound, finish my new YA (almost…there…) and write my new adult book. In addition, I’ve been asked to do another signing here in San Antonio before I go, and I hope to be making at least one school visit. These will be my last appearances in Texas until TLA 2013, when I’ll be back in the Dallas area.
I’ve loved living in San Antonio. Loved it. There are many, many things I will miss when No 1. and I leave. But we’ve been away from OKC for four years, and it’s time to go home.
Texas, thanks so much for having us. We promise to come back and visit.
Oklahoma, look out! I’m headed home!
Readers…Obviously I didn’t announce the giveaway winner, because there was already a lot in this post, so that gives you all one extra day to enter!

Congratulations on the move back home! I hope it isn’t too hectic and that things go fairly smoothly!

Sad that you are leaving Texas, that’s where my heart is, but you are moving back to where your heart is so that is all that matters. I hope the move goes really well for you! Congratulations on going home.

Moving is a challenge, but I hope that it will go smoothly for you “There’s No Place Like Home” I might be moving out of state in the next 5 years or so but I would be right next door so I could always travel back home when I’m not working or life happens. Plus I can’t be gone from my state that is known for its cheese, dairy, and beer oh and also Green and Yellow.

Best wishes on a smooth move! I do not envy anyone who has to relocated. Selling/buying houses, packing! GAH! I know I will have to do it sooner than later and I dread it all the time.
